His work is marked by his bold experiments with textile materials and textures, which provoke a dialogue between tradition and modernity. His creations, inspired by the aesthetics of primitivism and the energy of expressionism, are complex compositions made of wool, cotton, and acrylic. Within them intertwine organic forms and abstract narratives, creating visual universes that balance between chaos and harmony.
Through his art, Pondev redefines the role of textiles in contemporary art, transforming them into a medium for philosophical and visual exploration. Each project is an experiment with the boundaries of the material, where the physicality of the yarn merges with its metaphorical essence. Thus, his rugs and installations become a bridge between past and future, between craft and art, between the human body and the space it inhabits
